Teambuilding
for Sure Start Programmes
Teambuilders staff have helped established Sure Start teams improve
the way they work, and equally importantly, we have helped new Sure
Start teams work more effectively from the outset, reducing the lead-in
time until they are fully operational.
Over the past couple of years, we have worked with a number of new and
established Sure Start programmes in the East Midlands, South Yorkshire
and Lancashire. Training has focused on developing people, improving
the way that the programme team works, and implementing performance
management and evaluation strategies.
Teambuilders
staff have organised and facilitated a range of half-day, one-day and
two-day events for:

Sure Start Sudell and Central Darwen (a two-day performance
review and teambuilding exercise for an established team and support
work with the Health Visitor team)

Sure Start Mill Hill & Livesey (a performance review and
planning event)

Sure Start Rawmarsh (improving communication and partnership
working)

Sure Start Burngreave and FirVale (exploring inherent skills,
knowledge etc in a new team and developing partnership/team working)

Sure Start West Bassetlaw (improving communication and team
working; promoting and marketing Sure Start)
